The one plate built from words — Leonardo's, from the Codex Atlanticus: “Iron rusts from disuse; stagnant water loses its purity; even so does inaction sap the vigour of the mind.” Set in italic with an illuminated gold initial, and echoed in the margin in his mirror writing. Stay in motion.
