The story behind this piece

Schematica is a complete, buildable signal chain drawn as an engineering blueprint. A 7805 regulator supplies 5 V; an NE555 astable with R1 = 1 kΩ, R2 = 6.8 kΩ and C1 = 100 nF runs at about 988 Hz. Its square wave drives an NPN LED switch (about 8.5 mA) and an RC low-pass with fc = 1/(2πRC) ≈ 159 Hz. A single-supply op-amp, biased at 2.50 V by a 10 k/10 k divider, amplifies the result with G = 1 + 22k/10k = 3.2. Symbols follow IEEE/ANSI conventions, junction dots mark only real three-way joins, and the three test-point traces are simulated from the drawn component values, not sketched.
